Cranberry, Orange, and Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

1 ripe banana, sliced

1 orange, peeled and segmented

2-3 Medjool dates, pitted

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Ice cubes (optional for a thicker smoothie)

 

    Directions:

    1. Combine the cranberries, banana, orange segments, dates, almond milk, ice cubes, and vanilla extract in a blender and blend on high speed until all the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth. 
    2. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if needed. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add another date or a drizzle of honey. 
    3. Pour the smoothie into glasses and enjoy immediately. You can also garnish with a slice of orange or a few whole cranberries for presentation.

    Tips:

    • Nutritional Boost: For added nutrition, consider adding a tablespoon of chia seeds or flaxseeds.
    • Storage: This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Just give it a good shake or stir before drinking.
